We invite Casual Mall Leasing Bookings and Inquires for the following Shopping Centres:
  • Beaumaris City Shopping Centre
    62 Constellation Drive, Ocean Reef, Western Australia
  • Katanning Shopping Centre
    132 Clive Street, Katanning Western Australia
FOR CHARITIES AND NOT FOR PROFIT ORGANISATIONS

If you are representing and collecting on behalf of a registered charity or not for profit organisation, and strictly have volunteers at the centre, there will be no charge for you to display at the Centre. Once submitting an inquiry, either via email or the form below: you will be asked to complete a Declaration Form which states you are representing on behalf of a registered charity or not for profit organisation, and that all profits raised on the day go back to charity or to that not for profit organisation.

FOR LOCAL VOLUNTEERS

If you are a local resident and wish to fundraise on behalf of a community organisation or committee, there is also no fee charged. We encourage local schools and other community groups in both Beaumaris and Katanning for Casual Mall Leasing. You will receive a Declaration of Not for Profit, the section requesting the registered charity would be the name of the charity you are fundraising for.

FOR COMPANIES AND INDIVIDUALS

If you wish to erect a stall at either centre to sell products or promote your organisation, fees do apply. Please bear in mind, if your product is similar to a retail store in the centre, we will be unable to accommodate you.

Fees Applicable: $110.00 per day including GST

*Please note there are no discounts offered for weekly bookings, as we do not permit displays for no longer than 2-4 days in a row.

HOW TO APPLY

To secure a booking, you must provide Churchill Knight with the following information:

  1. A current copy of your Public Liability Insurance Certificate of Currency.
    We advise the minimum Public Liability Insurance cover required is $10 million.
    Please check to make sure that your Certificate covers the dates you request, or you will need to re-apply
  2. Your Organisation/Charity’s Name and ABN, if applicable.
  3. Current Contact Number and Email Address.
  4. The Dates you wish to Display.
  5. Which Centre you wish to Display.

Administration will be in contact with you within 2-4 working days to respond to your application/inquiry. You will then be asked to verify and provide the following information:

  1. The dates and Shopping centre where you wish to display;
  2. For Registered Charities and Organisations, a signed Declaration Form (sent from Administration when responding to your application/inquiry)
  3. If a fee is applicable when you make your booking, Churchill Knight will issue you with an invoice for payment. After payment has been made, please send your payment receipt to Churchill Knight before the date of display, if payment is not received within at least 3 working days prior, your booking may be cancelled.

CASUAL MALL AREA TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF DISPLAY

DISPLAY AREA

Approximately 9m2 i.e. 3m x 3 m

All displays are limited to a height of 1.8m (6 feet)

PUBLIC LIABILITY

We advise the minimum Public Liability Insurance cover required is $10 million.

Please attach a copy of Public Liability Insurance cover to your application form.

Proof of Insurance must be sighted by Churchill Knight before the commencement of your booking at the Beaumaris City Shopping Centre.

SETTING UP AND DISMANTLING OF DISPLAY

Please note that setting up, removal and storage of display material is the sole responsibility of your Company/Group. Assistance from Beaumaris City Shopping Centre personnel is unavailable.

CODE OF CONDUCT – WE REQUEST THE FOLLOWING

You dress in a tidy and respectful manner.

Please be courteous to all the retail tenants and customers of the Shopping Centre.

You provide receipts to customers for all products purchased.

Should you be approached by a retail tenant asking you to move your display, we ask that you contact Churchill Knight immediately so that we may advise you of how to proceed. Please do not engage in a discussion with the tenant so as to avoid any misunderstandings.

If you are promoting a service, you are free to hand out advertising material, however your approach should be polite and friendly and in no way assertive. Any complaints from customers may result in cancelation of further bookings.

PRESENTATION OF DISPLAY

A high standard of presentation and promotion of your display to the public is expected. Please set up your display in a central position and no closer than 3 metres of a retail store, and away from their door way/ customer entrance areas.

We suggest that you have your business cards on display as we often receive calls from customers wishing to purchase more product off Casual Mall Lease clients.

PRESENTATION REQUIREMENTS ARE AS FOLLOWS:

All Signage: All signage is to be of a “professional standard” in accordance with the image the Centre endeavours to uphold. No handwritten or stencilled signs will be permitted. Any desktop signs must be of an A4 size.

Tables: To be covered with full length cloths and are not provided by the centre.

Electrical: Any power leads, extension cords and electrical cabling must be supplied by your Company/Group and must remain concealed to prevent any risk to shoppers.

All electrical appliances, lighting equipment and above mentioned must be tagged and be in accordance with Worksafe Australia’s Acts and regulations.

ATTENDANCE AT DISPLAY:  An attendant must always be present during the allocated CML hours requested. This includes up until 9:00 pm on Thursday evenings and other extended trading hours including Sundays and Public Holidays during certain periods. If you cannot meet this condition, your booking may be cancelled.

DISPLAY MATERIAL

No display material will be stored over the weekend.

Motor Vehicles are Not Permitted inside the Shopping Centre.

OTHER CONDITIONS

The Centre does not allow the use of PA systems, flashing lights and direct approaches to the public.

Management and staff of Beaumaris Shopping Centre do not take responsibility for merchandise damaged or stolen throughout the duration of the display period.

Please note that Management of the Shopping Centre reserves the right to cancel the confirmation of this agreement, (at their discretion), at any time prior to or during the booking. However, should a cancellation occur, prior to the booking commencing or other than for a breach of these conditions, a full refund of all monies or a daily cancelled proportion thereof will be made.
